Sarah Holt, MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Sarah is a licensed occupational therapist who graduated from East Carolina University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has gained experience in a variety of settings including acute care, outpatient clinics, and school-based practice. Sarah has a passion for working with children ages birth to 21. She has received introductory training in Handwriting Without Tears, the Alert Program, and the Zones of Regulation. Sarah has experience working with children with diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, sensory processing dysfunction, genetic disorders, visual impairments, ADHD, and neuromuscular disorders.

Drawing from her experience as a mother of two young children, Sarah understands the value in appreciating each child’s individual strengths. She enjoys using a play-based approach that centers around both the client’s and families’ needs to maximize participation in meaningful occupations. Sarah prioritizes interdisciplinary and team collaboration to help meet each child’s goals. Sarah is excited to work closely with families to explore their child’s potential and address their unique needs in order to achieve success!

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places with her husband and two energetic daughters.
