Occupational Therapist

Alyson is originally from Long Island, New York. She recently relocated to the Raleigh area with her family. She has been married for 22 years and has three children aged 21, 20 and 18. Alyson received a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from New York Institute of Technology in 2000. She has worked in pediatrics for over 20 years. Alyson has worked with children with various developmental delays and diagnoses (Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, developmental delay, sensory processing challenges) in both the home and school setting. She is a team player and works well with other service providers to best support each child. Alyson loves children and believes they learn best through play. She believes each child is unique and their individual strengths should be used to further promote their development. Alyson is passionate about supporting each family's goals for their child and believes that parents and/or caregivers play an integral role in improving each child's development.
