Zulema Ferrin is a bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) pediatric therapist with seven years of experience. She graduated from Keiser University in Florida with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Since 2011, Zulema has been treating children and adolescence from 0-21 years of age. Her experience includes working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, sensory integration disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, conduct disorder, and developmental delays.
Zulema has worked in a variety of settings including clinics, homes, daycares, and schools. She uses a play-based approach combining floor play and table top activities and making sure children have fun while reaching individual goals. She has a strong sensory integrative knowledge base and has completed continuing education courses in kinesiotaping, development of play skills, and attention span techniques. Zulema places special emphasis on involvement and communication with the family. She values each small success a child has and is dedicated to providing family-centered care.
