During your initial call, we will hear your concerns for your child and ask if you are looking for therapy in your home, at your child’s daycare or private school, or in our clinic. If you are requesting therapy outside of our clinic, we will determine which therapist is the best match for your child based on your child’s needs and the location. We currently have physical therapists serving Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, and Garner and occupational therapists serving Raleigh, Wake Forest, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and Garner.
COMPLETE INTAKE FORMS
After scheduling, we will send you a link to complete our intake forms and collect your insurance information. We will contact your insurance company and determine your therapy benefits and share them with you, including your estimated out of pocket expenses, prior to the evaluation and any ongoing services. We will handle obtaining referrals or orders for therapy from your child's doctor as well as any prior authorization for services that may be required.
SERVICES BEGIN
Our therapist will reach out to you directly to schedule your child’s initial evaluation. The evaluation will be a thorough assessment of your child’s current level of functioning and may include standardized testing, parent or teacher interviews, and clinical observations of your child during typical play. The therapist will assess your child’s strengths as well as areas of need and may make a recommendation for treatment services. If treatment services are recommended, you and your therapist will determine goals for treatment and the team process will begin! Your therapist will provide home activities and parent coaching to support progress between sessions.
