We rely on your consistent attendance in order to meet your child's therapy goals. If you need to cancel an appointment, please inform your therapist as soon as possible with at least 24 hours notice. However, we understand that children can become suddenly ill and that emergencies do occur. Please notify us as soon as you are aware that your child will not be able to keep his/her therapy appointment for these reasons. This will allow us to plan our schedules accordingly.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a $25 missed appointment fee.
Partners in Therapy reserves the right to discharge your child from our services due to noncompliance and/or after two cancellations or no shows within an 8 week period.
Please keep in mind that in order for your child to make progress, appointments must be as consistent as possible.
If your child has a contagious illness such as COVID-19, chickenpox, flu, strep throat, head lice, pink eye and/or symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, or vomiting, please cancel your appointment to prevent the spread of illness to your therapist and to other children they serve.
Your child should be free of fever, vomiting, and diarrhea without the use of fever reducing medicine (Tylenol or Motrin) for 24 hours prior to any therapy session with our therapists. Many of our therapists serve medically fragile children and this policy serves to protect the health and well-being of all children served, especially those who are immunocompromised.
*A fever is considered a temperature at or above 100 degrees F.
If a sibling or family member is sick or contagious, please refrain from bringing them to the clinic.
