Melissa Zahradka, MS, OTR/L
Melissa has been a licensed occupational therapist since 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupation and Well Being, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in Maryland. Melissa has experience working with a wide variety of populations, including children as young as 9 months old and adults as old as 100. Her experience involves work within schools, outpatient clinics, and home health, addressing diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, and Down syndrome.
Melissa has a passion for working with families in their natural environment, using a client centered and play based approach. She feels it is important to provide a well-rounded treatment plan including education in order to help children reach their full potential to focus on what is important, learning and having fun!
