Meadhini is from India and received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Dr. M.G.R Medical University in 2009. She has 13 years of work experience in the field of OT. Before moving to the USA, she started her career as pediatric occupational therapist in India and practiced for 5 years in sensory integration outpatient clinics and hospital settings for children.
In 2013 she pursued license to practice in USA acquiring OTR registration through the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists and moved to New jersey in 2014. She worked for few years in a developmental center for adults with diagnoses of developmental disabilities and then continued her passion for working with children. She gained experience in settings such as the public school system, early intervention, and outpatient pediatric clinics. She moved to North Carolina in 2021. It is her passion to work with children with special needs and their families to help each child become as successful in their daily lives as possible. Her clinical experience includes working with various diagnoses such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, Sensory Processing Disorders, Developmental Coordination Disorders, Down Syndrome, Adults and children with Cerebral palsy, Intellectual Disability, Handwriting difficulties, Fine motor skills difficulties, Motor coordination and planning(praxis), Visual perceptual difficulties, Wheelchair seating and positioning, Feeding issues, and Developmental Delay. Meadhini believes that every child is unique, and their uniqueness should foster their growth.
