Janine E. Cornell, MS, OT/L
Janine graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and went on to receive her Master’s Degree at Indiana University. She has over 28 years of experience in a variety of settings. Janine has extensive experience working with children (birth to 5) in the home, daycare, school and clinical settings. She is experienced working with many diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorder, developmental delays, Down’s Syndrome and other genetic disorders, orthopedic and neurological impairments, stroke, OI, Cerebral Palsy, and medically fragile children including children with stem cell transplants. She especially enjoys working closely with families and caregivers using both therapist-directed and functional play approaches in order to meet the needs of the child.
Janine has four daughters and enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s dance studio where she interacts with children of all ages. She looks forward to helping children and their families to reach their optimal potential.
